Can I use Arctic Fox on my pet?

In general, yes! Arctic Fox colors are 100% vegan, contain no animal by-products or any of the harsh chemicals often found in permanent dyes such as peroxide, ammonia, ethyl alcohol and PPD. They are very gentle and safe; of course, if you are concerned, we’d always recommend consulting your veterinarian first, especially if your pet has a history of allergies or skin sensitivities. The best locations are those where the animal cannot reach to self groom. And of course you should patch/skin test to make sure your pet has no adverse reaction to the formula! Our full list of ingredients is available for your review here in the FAQ. However, we would recommend that the dye not be used on pets that frequently groom themselves, such as cats or rodents, because they are at higher risk of ingesting an amount of dye that may make them sick.
